tl;dr: Take the time to do the ordering right. The shoe will make you a better dancer.
Ordering: When sending in your shoe measurements - have a friend take your measurements - DO NOT DO THIS YOURSELF.
The Shoe Itself: I got a Black/Black Pituco leather sole with single cushioning. The first iteration of the shoe were too tight, Mr Tango was willing to adjust the shoes. The second pair is fine.
The Results: The shoe is SNUG - I can't spread my toes to grip the ground. That limits my ability to use my toes; on the other hand it forces me to learn better technique. The sole is slick. To be stable, I have to do body stacking (Hips over knees over feet) to step and be safe. Rotational movement is almost too easy; so I have to learn control again. At the end of the night my feet did not hurt (I had been training in socks for 2 months before that night) and I almost walked out with my dance shoes on because they felt *right*.
